Introduction to Traditional Woodworking
Full day (Saturday) survey of methods, materials, & equipment to begin the woodworking journey. After observing essential techniques for good joinery, the student tackles the construction of the Shaker two-step stool.

Introduction to Traditional Woodworking II The sequel!
Another Saturday course designed primarily for attendees of the previous course. The student moves on to examine the essential mortise and tenon joint and builds a Shaker-style night table.

Traditional Woodworking III
The student builds on skills learned in Intro II, revisiting the mortise & tenon joint. The student is given some latitude in choosing a project ie. Sofa table, small writing desk, or kitchen table. This is a Saturday course. Based on student demand, a version of this table - featuring a drawer - may be offered from time to time (two Satudays; $265.00)

Build a Cherry Blanket Box
This course targets the student who has woodworking experience. The student gains access to a professional shop with specialized tools such as dovetail jigs (Leigh), wide planers, and a mortise tenon machine. The course requires two Saturdays.

This Friday evening, and Saturday course allows the student to build a set of 3 cherry boxes.

NEW! Build a Workbench
If you've always wanted to build, or own, a traditional European workbench, read on! We have developed a class that allows a maximum of 4 students to each build a bench in 4 - 5 days (Monday to Friday). The bench consists of a 3" maple top on a base using 3" stock with front vise and tail vise. The price shown includes wood, hardware, instruction and lunches. Workbenches produced to date have easily rivaled quality benches selling for over $1,500.00. Previous power tool experience is required.
